When I was ten, I had two missions:

1. Help kids growing up with adults who hit them heal from it.
2. Help the adults doing the hitting stop.

Back then I thought it was total bullshit that grown adults were hitting me. I still think that. 

The difference is now I understand those adults were people carrying their own unprocessed pain, with no tools and no resilience to handle it, so it came out sideways, at a kid.

I started GrowSesh because therapy alone hadn't worked for me. And if it hadn't worked for me, I knew it wasn't working for a lot of other people either. 

So I vetted and hired experts, and together we built workshops that have now helped hundreds of people change their lives.

Here's what I didn't see coming: I was building the thing that would change my own life too.

I thought I was good. I'd done therapy, I'd done "the work," I figured I was mostly healed, and now I was just creating a space for other people who, like me, hadn't gotten what they needed from traditional routes. 

I was the founder. I was the helper. I wasn't the one who needed the workshops.

It took my husband about a year of watching the experts host these things before he finally convinced me to actually go through them myself.

My entire life has changed since I started using the thing I built for everyone else. 

My healing journey has been crazy and is finally starting to feel fun thanks to GrowSesh.
